Building a career is not restricted to imparting education only. Imparting education is only one aspect of it. Some other perspectives make a lot of difference to personality building, which is so vital for career planning. Our aim is to develop allround personality of the students. We put emphasis on extra curricular activities like NSS, sports and cultural events. We encourage social activities like Blood Donation Camps, Free Medical Camps & Free Eye Camps for the weaker & needy sections of the society and to promote good health for everyone.

NSS (National Service Scheme)

In 1976, NSS was started by Jiwaji University Gwalior in this college under the guidance of Dr. A. S. Upadhyaya. The NSS unit of the institute is engaged in the task of personality development of the students by organizing various programmes e.g. Medical camp, Health awareness programmes, Blood Donation camps, Medicinal herbs and trees plantation, Debates and discussions of the relevant subjects from time to time.

Sports

Sports department of college organize various physical training programmes and games activities, sports meet at college level and university level time to time. To develop sportsman spirit and awareness to health sports like badminton, cricket, athletics, chess, carom board and tug of war are part of our Annual Sports Meet.

Cultural Activities

Cultural activities are encouraged by way of celebrating national festivals. Cultural events are performed such as annual function, singing, dancing and stage programme.

CME & RoTP

With the assistance from central Government the Institute regularly organizes Re orientation Training Programmes (ROTPs) and Continuing Medical Education Programmes (CMEs) for teachers and ISM&H practitioners. Similarly it takes active participation in implementing various Health and education related National & State level Schemes.
